GOVERNING BOARD

Ms. Mrinalini Kochar, President, has 25 years of experience as a high school teacher and has spent the last 15 years working on issues of marginalized children in education and development. Interestingly, she also served on the Council of the Indian Golf Union Ladies Section for about twenty years, and served as the Chairperson for two separate terms.

Ms. Nalini Chuganni, Secretary, is an Early Childhood Specialist and President of the Mumbai branch of the Indian Association of Preschool Education. She has over 30 years of experience in teaching and supporting Early Childhood Development initiatives locally and nationally.

Mr. Ashok Mahadevan, Treasurer, recently retired after serving as the editor of the Reader´s Digest for twenty five years. He has written extensively throughout his career and continues to travel and write.

Mr. Shastri is a Company Executive at Tata Motors and has worked with the Tata group for over thirty years. He serves in various capacities on a number of boards in the city.

Captain. Davindar Singh retired after thirty three years with Air India, where he worked in a number of capacities in the institution.

Ms. Vaishali Deodhar has been associated with Mumbai Mobile Crèches for nearly fifteen years. A Bachelor´s degree in Psychology, as well as a post graduate degree in Mass Communication, she has worked in media and is also a Trustee of the Rangoonwala Trust.

Ms. Saroj Satija has been involved in the Arts Movement in Mumbai for several decades. She runs the Art Centre gallery and is on the organising committee of the Kala Ghoda Festival -- Mumbai´s most prestigious annual art festival.
