EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

After having worked in the field of early childhood education for forty years, and developed an enormous resource base, an important part of our advocacy includes training and support services to individuals, organisations, government and academic institutions in the child rights field. In the last five years, our training programme has supported nearly 5000 people from NGOs, government agencies, colleges, schools and other organizations.

We run a number of intensive trainings and workshops and offer customised internships related to child care and development. This includes:

One year Bal Palika (Early Child Development) course - 2 days of theory and four days of practical training in a MMC centre. Interested individuals and organisations who wish to invest in their ECD projects are welcome to apply.

Six month Crèche Training course - two days of theory and four days of practical with a specific focus on child development till three years of age.

Refresher courses - these are customised extension courses for people already working in child care.

Three months Supervisor´s Training - Conducted across twelve Saturdays this is meant for existing as well as potential preschool supervisors to develop and hone their management skills.

Crèche and Preschool set up support - this is for organizations who are keen to invest in crèches and preschools and need guidance, infrastructure and recruitment support.

Puppet making and low cost educational material workshops.

Internships and student placements for Human Development and Social Work courses.
